oh GEEZE

Now if this isn't silliness I don't know what is - I'm surprised Quanell X has not come out against it, being it happened in the Houston area! Seems the word "negroid" is RACIST! It's become the new "n" word. Funny, Caucasoid is not a racist term, neither is Mongoloid, but Negroid is racist. Sounds like those people who thought the word "snigger" was a racial epithet. A 'civil rights activist' says she is outraged by the insensitivity.

The word Negroid is used by anthropologists working in craniofacial anthropometry.

Some people would see racist comments if you said Hello how are you? I think.

A racial slur... I think not!

Some people need to get over themselves, and stop looking for racism in everything, including white bread.

For your edification, from Webster's 11th Dictionary, online version:

Main Entry: 1snig·ger
Pronunciation: \ˈsni-gər\
Function: intransitive verb
Inflected Form(s): snig·gered; snig·ger·ing \-g(ə-)riŋ\
Etymology: by alteration
Date: circa 1706

: snicker

— snig·ger·er \-gər-ər\ noun

I am SO in agreement with you.

The only reason I (will) use the *n* word is because I don't really have ANY decent black folks living near us...
ANd Chris Rock says there ARE differences.

Let's face it, there are "certain, specific" nuances that DO follow along with people who exhibit a propsenity for a thug lifestyle, dress like crap and listen to crap music, calling everyone else every name in the book, race notwithstanding.
What else CAN you call such people, anyway?
To me, it's the old "If the shoe fits" gig...
And the *n* word applies to like people of ANY race or ethnicity.

We're too "race sensitive" these days, when what we REALLY need to do is be more TRUTHFUL and start calling the "pot and kettle" what they REALLY are.

These uber senistive loons need to build a damn bridge and get over it.
(that's from a person that had a LOT of black friends over the years...REAL people)

But hey, that's just *my* opinion.

    Have a great weekend.

  2. I agree. I was thinking last night after I posted this - that "negroid" caused 'low self-esteem' in the lady's son.. I'm thinking that the parent is more responsible than a word on a piece of paper. People looking for racism under every single stone. Seems like the left always wants to divide people by race, class, etc. and its the conservatives that classify people as 'people' and by what they actually do.

We are "judged" by who we ARE, by what WE DO (or do not do), and by the manner we conduct OURSELVES.
Biblically, we should not judge, but perhaps a better word would be "categorized"...
SO that means if some people "play the fool", that's exactly how they will be perceived.
And it's the LEFT that wants to keep the "down-trodden" that way, so they can say they have a CAUSE.
(they don't think about the EFFECT from that cause, however)

It's ALL smoke and mirrors, dear.

    Y'all have a good Sunday.
